English is widely spoken alongside Spanish and the local island dialect, making it easy for visitors to connect with residents. For a comfortable trip, bring reef-safe sunscreen, light clothing, and shoes suitable for uneven paths. The dry season, generally from February to June, is popular for sunny beach days, while the island’s warm climate makes it inviting throughout the year.
